Monitoring changes for limited companies

Changes happen all the time, so staying on top of them is important, especially when they can affect how you work with a particular client.

With a limited company this could be a change of director, change of address, or even a change of Person of Significant Control (PSC).

MLVerify makes it simple to monitor for these changes on an on-going basis.

Setting up monitoring

The checks can be put in place for any limited company registered with Companies House.

When viewing the client record you will be shown a “Monitor” option near the company number

Clicking this will reveal the types of changes we can monitor for.

You can either apply a common set of risk checks, or select any that you’re interested in. Once you’ve selected them, just save it and the monitoring will start from then onwards.

Clients with monitoring enabled will show with a green “Monitor” label -

Notification of changes

When a change is detected you will be notified in one or two places, depending on your settings.

Dashboard notifications

All changes will be highlighted on your dashboard on the “Notifications” tab -

Weekly digest

If you have weekly digest emails enabled on your account, we’ll include recent notifications as part of this email, similar to the below -
